Biography

About Shevchenko Volodimir G. in short was an Doctor of technical sciences, senior researcher,Scientific secretary of the Institute of Geotechnical Mechanics them M.S Polyakov NAS of Ukraine (IGTM NAS of Ukraine). Scientific biography: In 1994-1999 studied at the Dnepropetrovsk State University, Department of applied economics and got a degree in economics and mathematics, specialty "Information systems in management". In 2005 defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences on the specialty 05.15.02 - "Underground mining ". In 2010 defended thesis for the degree of doctor of technical sciences on the theme "Scientific-methodical bases of definition the readiness of systems “the colliers - longwall set of equipment” to increase a coal mining safety" on the specialty 05.26.01 - "Labour safety". Author of more than 80 scientific publications, including 1 monograph, scientific advisor of 2 defended thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences. Fellow Scholarship of the President of Ukraine (2002-2004), fellow Scholarship of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2012, 2013). He is the scientific secretary of the interdepartmental scientific council "Scientific basis mining of coal deposits of Ukraine", a member of the "Mining" section of Committee on the State Prize of Ukraine in science and technology, scientific secretary of specialized scientific council at IGTM NAS of Ukraine, a member of the specialized scientific councils at National Mining University and Kryvyi Rih National University on the specialty "Labour safety".

Research Interest

Areas of research involving the problems of safety mining in hard conditions, the human factor in the technology of mining, improving technologies and means of minerals processing.
